Pastor Bob Ossewaarde was saved as a young boy and made the decision early in life to serve the Lord full-time in the ministry.

He graduated from a Christian High School in 1981, and received his college training at Hyles-Anderson College, earning a BS in  Pastoral Theology and a M.Ed in School Administration.  In 2005 he completed a correspondence course from Baptist College of America, earning a D.Min.

After serving in pastorates in Indiana and Georgia, the Lord led his family to Orangeburg, South Carolina in September of 2009 to accept the call from Gospel Light Baptist Church.

Pastor Ossewaarde and his wife Jodi have been happily married since 1993, and have three wonderful children:  Amber, Ryan, & Daniel.
